Capturing the Wonders of the World: How Photography Can Inspire Greatness Within Us

Hello dear readers, I hope you had a great weekend and you're smoothly getting ready to go back to your weekly activities. I trust that through my writing and photographs, you have come to realise that there's not just a single perspective to the world and that photography can stimulate our thinking.

I kind of struggled to find a topic to write about because I didn't get the opportunity to wander on the streets and get inspiration. However, when I looked at my gallery, I noticed that there's still a lot worth discussing. As I told you in my last post, I like travelling. And going around allows me to admire the wonders of human intelligence. 

Do you realise that people like you and me have invented the most remarkable and essential technologies shaping the history of humanity? Some of these inventions are the fruits of abnegation and sacrifice as Molière said, "the greater the obstacle, the more glory in overcoming it." I can just imagine how long it took Alexander Graham Bell and Tim Berners-Lee to respectively get the functioning prototypes of the telephone and the World Wide Web. 

This text is hitting home for me because I am often underestimating myself and giving in when reaching my limits. Yet, Einstein was said to be an average student and still manage to come up with a formula that revolutionised human history and became maybe the greatest mind ever. I don't know how he came up with that formula but I imagine that it was not found by chance but because he worked and overcame what he thought were his limits.

With this text, and the photographs attached, I want us to reflect on the most admirable minds and inventions of human history and acknowledge that we're also capable of greatness in our respective fields. Never forget that self-doubt will always be our toughest adversary.
